Saturday, June 21, 2014 - Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for 30 minutes. Aromas of currant, blackberry, leather, cocoa powder and forest floor. Black currant, coffee and firm tannins on the palate lead to a medium length finish. Medium bodied with a soft texture, but slightly hollow on the mid-palate. Paired with strip steaks with béarnaise sauce.
