Saturday, July 12, 2014 - The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing pronounced intensity aromas of lemon peel, green apples, fresh peaches, orange blossom and hints of honey and lime. The wine is medium-dry in the mouth with a high zesty and vibrant acidity. It has a medium alcohol and a medium+ body. It has pronounced intensity flavours of lime, lemon peel, fresh peaches, orange blossom and honey. The finish is long.

It is an outstanding quality wine with a great fruit concentration and a lingering finish. The acidity is wonderfully balanced by the sweetness and it shows clearly the typicity of a Rheingau Riesling, it even has a decent complexity despite its relative youth. Can drink now, but it has enough fruit concentration and acidity to develop more complex aromas over the next 10+ years.
