Monday, August 25, 2014 - Color is dark black-garnet and deeply colored and opaque. Their is a deep garnet hue to the rim too. The smells are currant, blackberry, dark chocolate, soy, cedar and tobacco. The tastes are earhty notes with dry leaves, blackberry, currants, dark cherry, soy, cedar, espresso, and dust. The tannins are fine but very dry and there is noteworthy zing on the long earrhy finish.
