Sunday, August 31, 2014 - A complicated beast is transformed into a purely hedonistic experience. Napa Valley seems to confer on this variety of many guises the same power, rich texture, deep and long flavors, and winning fruit of the locale's Cabernet Sauvignon. Perhaps this wine is expressing Napa's terroir? Whatever, this is most enjoyable, rich, and satisfying. At peak maturity and might even get better.
