Developed nose of dried fruit, wet paper, minerals and burned cola.
Very developed palate. Almost medium-sweet in flavour. Apricot marmelade, botrytis, mineral and rubber suit. Rather too developed for our tastes.
Tasted blind and compared with 1996 Rieussec and 2006 Rieussec, we came to the conclusion that this was a bit too old for us. Dryish and too much rubber. A bit thin as well. But then again, not the best of vintages.
