Wednesday, October 1, 2014 - I love champagne! This is the real thing. None of this "California champagne" business. That is a contradiction. I cringe when I hear that. This is my first experience of this brand, as far as I can recall. I was excited when I saw it because it's not that easy to find real champagne in a half bottle. There are only so many brands that do it and that export it to the States. I was also worried it would be flat because the store I brought it from appears to leave things that don't sell on the shelf for years. I bought some Belgian lambics that were that way. But this was young and fresh. "Strawberry blonde" in colour. Freshly kneaded dough and lemon. Delish. $30. I will buy again.
