Cool, masculine but lifted aromas of stones, just-ripe cherry, licorice, wet bark, mostly inorganic earth, and very well integrated oak. Dry but decently rich, gently extracted and quite polished in feel, this is not very lively but there's enough refreshment to beckon another sip or glass for sure.
