Tuesday, December 16, 2014 - Pristine bottle, perfect level (into neck), label and cork (no seepage whatsoever). A very classic and masculine Saint-Julien profile, earth, spice and blackcurrants on the nose; quite lean and tannic on the palate, bursting with mineral energy, but there seems to be little stuffing, austere; very good length. A powerful wine, but when is it going to come together? Nineteen years do not seem to have been enough?
