Saturday, March 28, 2015 - New Burgundy Releases-Mostly 2012s (Beltramo's, Menlo Park): Ruby. Nose is all earth, menthol, and some funk. Light bodied, some distant fruit that is hard to pin down, green, underripe finish. This does flesh out a bit in the glass but lacks fruit and is dominated by soil and herbs. Curious performance for a 2010-it did not seem that the problem was caused by it being closed currently.
