Thursday, November 1, 2007 - Some heat damage was suspected, as 3/4s of the cork was wet. The wine was fairly austere on the nose and quite thin on the palate at first, but after some time breathing a lovely floral and minerally character began to emerge over flavours of orange, limes and smoke. Medium to full bodied on the palate and quite dry with good acidity and a long, clean finish.
