Wednesday, August 12, 2015 - Nearly a year has passed since I last tasted this wine, which has held up surprisingly well. It continues to offer citrus, floral and hay aromas. Fresh, light-bodied and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.5%), it delivers green apple, lemongrass and chive flavors which stay solid in the middle. The finish is medium in length and quite crisp. This is a well-priced summertime sipper which will soon be replaced on the shelves by the 2014 bottling. Based on this sampling, it should stay enjoyable at least until next summer. Drink now-2016.
