Saturday, August 15, 2015 - Deep ruby color. Delicious and highly aromatic with big fruity flavor on the palate. On the nose, red fruit complemented by racy animale overtones, almost meaty. Generous cherry and strawberry notes on the palate are balanced by welcome acidity and subtle tannins that make this wine as accessible as it is sophisticated. Was expecting slightly more from the (still impressive) finish, but overall an exquisite wine that made the perfect accompaniment to a special dinner.
