Wednesday, August 19, 2015 - Looks like I'm hitting these every two years, though not intentionally. Coloring is deepish garnet now with moderate bricking. Showing aged characteristics on the nose with dried dark and dark red fruits, leather, soil, and subtle floral. Medium body, medium+ acid and finish, and flavors of a mix of fresh and dried blue, black, and dark red fruits, a bit of dried leaf earthiness, and dried spices. Worked well (again) with bbq ribs. Generally I'd say drink up, but I like 'em old, and for experimentation's sake, I will drink my last in another year or two.
