Friday, September 11, 2015 - Decanted and brought to room temperature approx one hour. I really liked this bottle, great complex nose of currants, plums, cedar and coffee, balanced palate of dark currants, cassis, blackberry, hints of licorice, drying tannins, suggesting extended bottle age would be beneficial, but maybe only 3 to 5 years. This is not as jammy and certainly not as sweet as many Aussie shiraz's, plenty of fruit to hold up against the tannins. Very good!
