Thursday, September 24, 2015 - Drank this at Pietro Ristorante Italiano with my army buddies to celebrate a birthday.

Colour is dark purple, with a attractive nose of lavender, raspberries and blackberries. On the palate the wine is lush, restrained and well integrated. Sweet, dark fruits combined with freshness makes this a delightful and food friendly wine.

Made up of 30% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 40% Barbera, it is not a commonly seen combination. However, this this wine works well on both the nose and the palate.
