A nice depth and richness to the fruit with the characteristic acidity carrying it. Through to a quite persistent and long finish. Holds well in the glass. Far better than my first bottle of this a couple of years ago, but not quite the depth and intensity of the second. Really lovely classic Rioja. ****1/2
