Friday, October 2, 2015 - My first Silver Oak experience. This wine is a star compared to the 2013 orin swift Mecury head. I'm glad I have another bottle because this is drinking very well right now. Crimson in color and still clear at at the edge. Defined tannins coming though suggesting this wine hasn't peaked yet. Great legs. I get the dill and vanilla on the palate. Pretty unique. Not cheap...but not a ripoff. Excited to try the 2010 as well as the 2009 and 2010 Napa.
