Wednesday, October 28, 2015 - Drank my last bottle with a beef, veal and sausage meatloaf while watching the Mets get bombed in game two of the World Series. The game was a disappointment, but the wine was fine!
Popped and poured, it was different than most Kistler Pinots I have had. Lots of acidity and some sweet red fruits. Not as grippy or over extracted as some Kistlers can be. It had a nice balance between the fruit and the acid and was a pleasure to drink with food. I would never have thought to leave it and let it age for this many years, it was just a bottle that got lost in my cellar. But it turned out great!
