Sunday, November 1, 2015 - Decanted 2 1/2 hours. Last tasted 2011. Dark purple with a dark ruby edge in appearance. Has a lovely bouquet of sweet dark and purple fruits and some dark earth with a hint of vanilla and a touch of menthol. Chewy tannins on the front accentuated by some cassis, plums, blackberries, and blueberries. Long finish; impressive.
