Sunday, November 1, 2015 - Wow, yummy. Fruit, game, herbs, and earth. Lots of savoury notes here to balance the intensity of the dark cherry and black raspberry fruit. Tannins are actually fairly smooth, but do pick up after a bit of air, as does the peppercorn note. Wish I had a case of this to drink 4 in the next year then 1 per year after that to see how it evolved.

    11/3/2015 8:18:00 AM - Thanks for posting. Nice to hear you liked the wine. The 2012 is gone, but 2013 is newly released. Same vineyard, and similar in many ways, but leans a little more towards red fruit, a bit more acid and slightly lower alc.
