2013 Domaine des Moirots Givry

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Thursday, December 3, 2015 - P&p; enjoyable right from the bottle, with pretty aromas of red fruit, flowers, and mushroom/forest floor. Similar on the palate - crunchy lean cranberryish fruit with terrific acidity and some earthy/woodsy/mushroom nuance. With an hour+ of air in the bottle it's getting richer and more cherry-fruited, and at two hours it has gained still more substance while staying fresh/juicy and almost weightless. Some grippy young tannins; they work well, but seem to cut off the finish. In any case, good stuff and a fine value.
