Saturday, November 28, 2015 - Honeydew melon, fig, almond meal. Long and persistent. Oak spice on the palate. Rounder on day two: Cream and ginger creeping into the mix. Spice oak remains, but better integrated. Quality wine, though lacking some wow factor that I experienced with the HVD from the same vintage (probably a style preference on my part). Should develop nicely over the next 3-5 years.
