Tuesday, February 23, 2016 - Classic lovely old BV. Almost pristine bottle. Medium to dark garnet just a hint of brick. Very pleasant and lively for its age and vintage. Bacon, coffee, blackberry and chocolate on the nose. By no means does it taste over the hill. Fairly bright but rounded on the tongue with some dark fruit on the palate but more nice secondary coffee, tobacco and meat on the finish.
