90 Points

Thursday, February 25, 2016 - The wine was dark ruby, almost purple in colour and offered floral notes, blueberry, blackberry, black currant, shredded dark chocolate, cedar and pencil shaving on the nose. On the palate the wine showed ripe fruit, blackberry, black currant, dark cherry, coffee, cedar, tobacco, graphite and mild vegetal notes, with medium-level acidity, firm, medium plus tannin and good length. A medium-bodied, ripe and concentrated yet firm Bordeaux, with new world fruit and old world structure. It benefited from aeration and I would recommend decanting for two hours. Very good!
