Wednesday, April 13, 2016 - I kept this bottle for almost 7-8 years in my cellar hoping it will show great someday. That didn't happen. Obnoxious amount of fake vanilla on the nose. Once you get past it, the taste profile is too sour for both me and my wife's taste. No depth or structure. Just over the top fruit and not delicious fruit. That said, some people might find it drinkable. We put it in the fridge for cooking with it later. Very disappointing for the stellar 2005 vintage in Napa. The 2005 Mondavi showed way better than this one and was cheaper.
