Tuesday, December 25, 2007 - Decanted for 2 hours. Nice dark cherry colour, showing only a tinge of brick on the rim. Lots of blackcherry fruit on the nose - very primary. Hints of blackcurrants, herbs and mushrooms but generally not that complex. Palate is similar, lovely sweet red and black cherry fruit, dry with some acidity but little tannins. Delicious to drink but not complex in flavour.
