Sunday, September 13, 1998 - Big ripe nose of cassis and oak. On the palate it is obvious that there is just way too much oak. It seemed to integrate a bit with air, however. Low acid, medium tannins. Short finish. Seemed a bit vegetal on the third day and perhaps a bit flabby. Good quaffer, good QPR.
