Thursday, May 19, 2016 - Nose of cooking spices, tea, oak, cherry and licorice. Silky smooth right out of the gate, building tannins as the finish goes on, it needs a few years to really calm down a bit but with a few hour decant this is really amazing stuff. At the price of 45 this is a steal. This is extremely well made and tastes in the 80-125 price range. Part of the reason is the vintage was incredible but it makes me curious enough to find some other vintages from this producer.
