Monday, December 31, 2007 - Wow, this was a great bottle, I don't usually consume the $100+ price point but it was a new years eve gift, so take my note as is, overall it was excellent but probably above my palate's ability to fully appreciate: Nose: blackberries, licorice and a lot more, Flavors: full bodied, smooth throughout, sweet cherry and plum on the front, balanced with a vanilla licorice feel on the mid palate, finish has a wonderful cholocate texture, this one will evolve nicely over time, probably a bit early to drink.
