Moderate fruit and strong tannins. Seemed over extracted and tannic as one would expect from a bad vintage where they were trying to get more fruit.

Flavors of dark and sour cherry, vanilla with strong tannins.
Improved somewhat with a lot of air time. This isn't great now, but may smooth out to something decent in 5 or 6 years.

Returned all the remaining bottles for the 2012, which is a much nicer wine for the money.
