Monday, June 13, 2016 - Very dark in colour, similar to the 1989 Lafleur. On the nose dark flowers, cherries, smoke, earth. On the palate some Sangiovese rusticity (in the best possible way) - punchy, bright, full of energy. Good fruit still, grippy tannins, super length. Wonderful. Drink up, but no rush based on this bottle. 92-94
