Monday, June 20, 2016 - We have had this wine a few times and the mistake here is to pop n pour. The wine needs its decanting maybe a day if possible but a few hours definitely. Not that it is austere and difficult but it develops with time very nicely.
Medium bodied, an easy style of madeira albeit not as welcoming as a Boal. Nutty, dried fruits , fair amount of caramel. Very solid and full of life.
