Monday, July 11, 2016 - There's a surprising amount of brett here. There's pretty red fruit, earth, and mature cedar and graphite notes beneath, but it's dominated by a funky leathery topnote that never blows off even with a fair bit of time in the decanter. It still feels quite fresh and youthful on the palate, though not showing the depth or finesse of the '86 that was poured alongside.
