Wednesday, July 13, 2016 - Interesting wine with a lot of time left, it seems. May even still be in its dumb phase.

This needed a LONG decant before it was started to put it together (3+ hours before it was even drinkable).

At first it tasted quite disjointed, with lots of rubbing alcohol/heat. After a decant, it settled down and was great, with lots of black fruits anf baking spices on the nose, spice and black fruits on the palate, and chocoloate and spices on the finish.

This was good at its peak, but it needed quite a bit of tine.
