Tuesday, August 2, 2016 - Dinner and Wine (Tasted Blind) with Amy S in Princeton (Princeton, NJ): Coravin pour with no decant. What a tasty wine! Notes of red fruit, cherry, blackberry, cedar, leather, earth, lead pencil, soy and some tobacco. Maybe some violets, too. We tasted these blind and Amy nailed this as St Estephe.

Drink now but has time, too. Great QPR for $25. We sent the rest home with Amy. It seemed too fragile for a decant but drank great with just a little air time to open.

This was our last bottle: it is great to go out on a high note. Alas, this wine is no longer made.
