On the palate this is very broad, intense and complex, yet full of finesse and detail. Saffron, pepper, hazelnut, mango and rocky-mossy-riverbed-kinda minerality. Probably just past its peak, but it is holding up very well! Miani's always very special, but a bottle at age 17 is rare, extraordinary and truly memorable.
