Friday, August 19, 2016 - Pleasant surprise. Immaculate bottle and cork. Upon pulling the cork, immediate smells wafting from the bottle. Nose of sweet dark fruit, secondary and tertiary notes, leather, tobacco leaf. Medium to full bodied, balanced, pure. Elegant with power. Mild sweet tannins, smooth mouthfeel, long finish - 45 sec. Very surprising and pleasing wine.
