Silky mouth feel with balanced fruit and well integrated tannins with some acidity on the back of the palate and finish. Opened nicely after about an hour or so. Excellent Syrah which ran on the edge of over powering but held back nicely. Excellent with Filet Mignon, honey coated carrots and garlic sauteed spinach.

While not in my wheel house (Burgundy is my thing) it is a well made excellent wine worth the experience.
