Tuesday, September 20, 2016 - Such an understated, humble wine. While it's getting a bit long in the tooth, and should be consumed in the next few years, it's still highly enjoyable now and had no problem delivering the goods after a full 2 hours in my glass. Which is to say that even as it warmed to room temp, the acids were cool enough to keep this balanced - something easier said than done. A treat with the pork dish, but also with the crab cakes, the mussels, the pate, etc. 7,0% abv, iirc. recommended
PnP, served non-blind at ~ 50F. Cork soaked 100%, removed with an Ah So, in tact.
