It smelled like "Christmas Morning," or maybe just like grandma's spice cake in the oven, with you and the family drinking Cinnamon Schnapps while it bakes. Palate was sweet and spicy. Very interesting. I enjoyed it, others hated it for being too sweet. Can't imagine what food it would go well with, though (besides a candy cane). Also, for the price, I'd seek out a more 'serious' wine, but if you have a chance to get a whiff of that nose without a $20+ price tag, I say go for it.
