Though still a baby, and certainly drank like a 2 year old, this nonetheless was wide open and putting out quite a bit of enjoyment. Generous in its dark plum profile, this was layered and very consistent from end to end. A little oak peeked out in the first half glass but soon was enveloped ito the overall package. Very well played. My best guess is this will be a mid term ager, say drink now and over the next dozen years, but no regrets pulling the cork last night.
