Saturday, December 24, 2016 - I bought this several years ago when I was up in Seattle visiting my wife’s sister. Thus, with my wife’s parents now here with us for the holidays, I felt it was some sort of perverse full-circle kind of thing. Pale yellow in the glass and more mineral than fruity, this wine is clearly unoaked and vibrant. The acidity is not what one might expect from a Chard (sorry “Shard”) as it is present and bracing. There is some fruit, but not quite enough to balance out the tartness. Still, a solid effort. thedrunkencyclist.com
