Thursday, December 18, 2003 - Tasted unblinded at Region restaurant. Bottle provided by Steve Schreiner. Bright disc. Deep garnet robe with brick rim. Clean nose, showing a complex bouquet of leather, black fruit, damp earth, clove and black tea. Full-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity, ample ripe tannins and similar flavors as for the nose. Long, smooth finish.
