Saturday, January 14, 2017 - This wine, in 2016 bought directly from the winegrower, surpasses all expectations. It tastes like a typical, ripened Riesling selection at a very high level. Quince dominates the nose, paired with peach, honey and delicate apple. The palate shows an incomprehensible freshness with wonderful acidity for a ripe selection, especially considering the summer of 2003. Honey melons and apple are presented in a lovely way. Without any asperity, with a short, explosive final, the taste experience of this wine ends.
