What I would consider a "basic" 2012 Cabernet. Not much in terms of layering or complexity. Medium bodied with a hair of depth/viscosity to add a bit of interest. Otherwise, it lacks most of the nuances that hold one's attention.

Those who don't think too hard about what they are consuming will find some pleasure here, but don't expect the cerebral wine if the century. Drink now.
