Saturday, February 11, 2017 - The cork in this bottle was secure but on its last legs; fell apart. The bottle was decanted. The wine had a great aroma and the palate opened up quickly in the glass. The short story is that the wine was great and really opened up over the evening. I 'm sure this vintage will last longer if the corks hold up. But, why wait? It is almost 20 years old and very enjoyable now.
