Saturday, February 18, 2017 - What a let down. This wine has somehow gotten very expensive for a wine that doesn't really justify it. Muted nose for 2+ hours. Very tannic for 2+ hours. If you plan on drinking it soon...decant, decant, decant.

1/2/2018 7:58:00 AM - Thanks for your note. I agree. Only, decanting won't help. I also just had a disappointing experience with 1995 LB which was tight, disharmonious, unrewarding and drying towards the end. Extended decanting and drinking over a period of three days only resulted in the wine feeling a little thin from day two. A huge let down.
