Candied and very ripe flavors of red cherries, raspberry, clove and stems that turn tannic and tart at times. Full and dense on the attack but flattens out towards the back of the palate leading to a medium length finish with a touch of heat. Significant sediment observed in both the glass and the decanter. Hopefully, cellar time will turn this into a more nuanced PN.
