Friday, March 10, 2017 - We bought this on special at the state store, even before we built our cellar. 2000 was not a great year in California, but the Howell Mountain pedigree showed through. Table talk included the fact that this family owned winery was bought, and isn't the same. They were making good stuff back then. Wine was classic Cali Cab, nicely resolved and balanced. Wish we had bought a few more bottles.
