Saturday, March 11, 2017 - Its 20 years since I last tasted an Errazuriz wine and it was part sentimentality that led me to buy this from the discunt rack of a local liquor store.
Dirty brown color, visible legs, strong blackcurrant nose. Lots of black fruit, mint, and kind of dusty coffee taste. I really enjoyed this wine with macaroni chesse, but it cried out for a steak. If you have nay of this vintage in your cellar, then drink them - I cant see them getting better.
This is much better than all of the Chilean wines that I have tasted to date. Is it value for money? It's fair.
